Each year engineering students at both the U of S and the U of R generate funds to give to charity by hosting a pie throwing event. The U of S pi throw occurred on a day when Council was meeting in Saskatoon. This was too good an occassion for APEGS President Steve Halabura to miss, so he purchased a "hit" on each Councillor and Staff member who attended the meeting. However, the big winners where the Royal University Hospital and Engineers Without Borders as the students generated $710 in donations.
