1. Processing Fees

Applications for registration as a Professional Member (P.Eng. or P.Geo.) or as a Member-in-Training (EIT or GIT) must be accompanied by payment of the appropriate processing fee.  Processing fees are non-refundable.

Processing fees are as follows:

For registration as a Professional Member

$225 plus $11.25 GST - $236.25

For registration as a Member-in-Training

$120 plus $6.00 GST = $126.00

The above fees apply to new applicants, persons currently or formerly registered in another province, and persons formerly registered with the Saskatchewan Association.  Former members of the Saskatchewan Association are also required to pay any outstanding amounts when they reapply for membership.

For Saskatchewan Members-in-Training applying for Professional Member registration, the amount of the Professional Member processing fee is reduced by the amount of the processing fee paid when applying for Member-in-Training status.  (Example: if you paid an enrolment or admission fee of $90 when you applied to become a Member-in-Training, your Professional Member processing fee is $135. plus $6.75 GST = $141.75).

2. Academic Assessment Fees

For any Member-in-Training applicant who requires an assessment of academic credentials, i.e. does not have an accredited bachelor degree, there is a non-refundable assessment fee of:

$200. plus $10 GST = $210, in addition to the processing fees listed above

3. Annual Fees

Please do not submit payment of annual fees with an application for registration.  You will be issued a dues notice for annual fees following acceptance of your application.

Annual fees are as follows:

Professional Member:

Annual membership fee $85

Annual licence fee $215

Total $300 plus $15 GST = $315, prorated monthly

Member-in-Training:

Annual membership fee $85

Annual licence fee $115

Total $200 plus $10.00 GST - $210, prorated monthly

New Professional Members whose Member-in-Training annual fees for the current year have been paid will have their Professional Member annual fees adjusted accordingly.
